There is a Japanese proverb that, in my opinion, aptly describes the modern western lifestyle:

“Hard work is the motto, burn out is the result.”

For all humans it is important to find a harmonic lifestyle that equally includes phases of exertion as well as phases of relaxation (the harmony of YIN and YANG).
